Community Guidelines

Droppin is about meeting real people at real events. These Community Guidelines keep it safe and welcoming for everyone. They are part of our Terms of Service — breaking them can lead to content removal, or suspension or termination of your account. Droppin is for adults 18 and older.

1. Be respectful

Treat others the way you would want to be treated. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

2. Keep people safe

• No content or events that promote violence, self-harm, dangerous activities, or put people at risk.
• No stalking, unwanted contact, or sharing someone's private information (doxxing).
• Don't create events intended to lure, deceive, defraud, or endanger people.

3. Keep it legal

No illegal content or activity — including the sale or promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, or stolen goods, and no organising illegal gatherings. Follow the law that applies to you and to your event.

4. No harmful or explicit content

No pornography or sexually explicit material, no gratuitous violence or gore, and nothing that sexualises or endangers minors. Content that sexually exploits or endangers children is reported to the authorities and results in an immediate ban.

5. Be authentic

• Be yourself. Don't impersonate other people, brands, or Droppin.
• No spam, scams, phishing, or misleading "events" that are really ads or link bait.
• Don't use bots, scraping, or fake accounts, and don't manipulate likes, follows, or reports.

6. Respect other people's rights

Only post content you have the right to share. Don't post other people's photos, music, or work without permission, and don't post photos of identifiable people who haven't agreed to it.

7. Reporting & enforcement

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. If you see something that breaks these Guidelines or the law, block and report it in the app, or email support@droppin.eu. We review every report and act on objectionable content promptly — including removing it and ejecting the user who posted it — and address the most serious content (for example, content that endangers people or sexualises minors) immediately. Depending on severity we may also warn you, limit a post's visibility, or suspend or terminate your account. Where required, we will tell you why and you can appeal — see section 8 of the Terms of Service (Digital Services Act). In an emergency, contact your local emergency services first.
